W123 Automatic Transmission Weight..?

Anyone know the weight of a W123 300D automatic transmission?

Also, any differences in non turbo engine vs turbo engine trannies?

For some reason the tranny from my 124 diesel didn't seem to weigh all that much. I think its about the same as one found in a 123. I was able to put it in and take it out the trunk of my 230CE all by myself.
I'm guessing it was about 100 lbs +/-.

W123 Automatic trans weighs 115 pounds.

I just got 115 lbs using a bathroom scale (non turbo).
Torque converter in, mostly filled with fluid.

Could not get torque converter off to check separately.

Do not know if turbo trans is different.

My guess the torque converter weighed about 20-25 lbs. Makes sense if my tranny seemed to weigh about a 100 lbs then. I didn't even use a tranny jack to reinstall the tranny. I just got underneath the car with the tranny, lifted the front end of the tranny with the t.c installed an then shoved a jack under the tail to keep it up. Not too terribly heavy nor hard to do.
I did use a tranny jack to remove it since I had no idea how much it was going to weigh. Turned out the rented tranny jack I had weighed more than the tranny itself.

Well, not to sound too stupid but.... heavy when it falls on top of your chest, but not too heavy to break anything other then knock the wind out of you.

I love my precise measurements.

Yes the tranny is different from the turbo and non turbo model. The turbo model is much beefier than the non turbo model.
