depends on how much......you could hydrolock the engine turning it into junk quite rapidly.

some dumb tech try to start it by putting it in the air intake but sat for about a month now i started it. probably about half a quart

We used to 'decarbonize' engines using ATF, a long time ago.
Get engine fully warm...with filter removed...engine at 3000 rpm....slowly pour in ATF untill engine begins to slow.....open throttle to compensate, while pouring ATF into intake..........made a LOT of smoke... ....finally kill engine with a little too much ATF...let sit overnight.....change/clean plugs.

NOT recommended for DIESEL engines !

dump half a quart all at once and you will see the engine come to a rapid stop..and never run again.....but slowly tricked in while running it will get burned and do no real harm.

ya my car is still smoking would that be the reason why and should i worry about it ? is it just going out the system?
