My E has 187K, so it's tough to say when. If you have higher mileage or it's older, it's cheap preventative maintainence.

You got that right. And my engine did quit shortly after posting that message.

I resoldered the connections at the circuit board, and it appears to be fine.

I thought it was under the pass seat and all that in the pic but that is for the IRLC or is that the same thing as the K40?
