For a 1985 W123 300TD *Wagon*

I'm ready to do this job but I cannot find an Evaporator Core

Is this the correct part number - Evaporator Core 0008304658

may as well changer the Heater Core too... any leads on that would be great as well.

Any and All help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

I ordered the evaporator from local dealership and it shipped from Germany. Beware: this fits a Siemens heater box. Does not fit the Behr heater box. You should be able to see the brand of the heater box without removing the dash.
Modifying a Behr box is possible but after studying the necessary mods, I found a Siemens box in the junkyard, renewed the flap seals and actuators then resealed it. Check your heater core for leaks. Attached is a pic of the part label from MBZ Part # 123 830 14 58.

That's not coming up as a good # .

Nice tutorial, however, the dash can be removed without removing the steering wheel.
