Gee whiz, I didn't mean to "piss" all over the forum, next time I'll try to be more direct.

I have pretty thick skin, it's ok.

Well, I gave my opinion of Fram, I didn't attack the person who called me a troll and told me to behave myself. If that person has a sensitive ego, and took my comments about Fram as a personal attack then so be it.

I also back the "Made In Turkey" FRAMs. I'm running one in my 300SD right now. Got my last one at PB.

Earlier DIESELDIEHARD found a Purolator coupon. What's everyones opinion on the Purolator filter? Part #L43056. 49 cents seems pretty good to me.... Right? or am I wrong?

Click on the link in post #33 for pictures of the Purolator. That should answer your question.

It was a joke, fool. I recognize you from other threads where you seem to have an axe to grind. Didn't bother me a bit, I was just calling it like I saw it. Trolling is against board rules. If you insist doing it you'll get the axe eventually.

OIL FILTERS: which one to buy????

That filter made in Germany is not very impressive. Kinda blows a hole in the idea that where the filter is made determines its quality.

During my recent oil change, I removed a Mahle filter and opened it up. Sorry to say, but it was full of the same crap most other oil filters have - cotton gin waste, ground-up bugs, dirt, and stuff like that.

Yep, same pictures. That's such a huge thread that the pictures seem to get lost.

Let's see. I didn't insult you when I said Fram was junk. You, however, took it as a insult, and then insulted me by calling me a troll. Then you call me a "fool" while defending your first insult. That's two insults from you against zero from me. If it didn't bother you, then why are you calling me a fool and saying I am the one with a axe to grind? Just like you call it as you see it, I am now calling it as I see it.

Your comment about my alleged trolling is absurd and laughable, but thanks, I take it as a compliment.

How do you know? You think you can read my mind? Can you guess what I'm thinking now?
