If you can confirm that I can try to make it there today.

By the way they are 4 speeds. Only the 6.9 had the 3 speed as far as I know since the 360-400lbft of torque would trash the 4 speed autos.
W116 and R107 models with the m117 motor also had three speed slushboxes. The late '60s W109 6.3 and 600 Grosser used a four speed auto with a fluid coupling instead of a torque conv.

After nearly giving up since I didn't want to get lost in that area I saw 936 on the side of a multi level parking garage which had entrances blocked by people washing their cars in the building driveway. There wasn't any parking on the busy street and a lot of pedestrians. There wasn't a valet on duty at the rent by the hour motel either. Does this place really exist? It has no sign or business markings of any kind. VERY SUSPICIOUS!

So what's next?
Thank you so much for doing this!
I think I am going to play it safe on this one.
Thank you.
I owe a look see ...I feel bad I didn't want to drive a bit to look at a car for Sixto a few days ago.

If it is too good to be true it probably is. For being perfect, his buy it now price isnt very high, and just because a fluid doesnt leave marks on the ground doesnt mean it is not undercoating the car

No problem. It wasn't close to you by any measure. And it wasn't the car for me anyway

I did a couple of turns for forum members. One was a 280C in extended storage that was severely overrated by the seller, the other was a 300D in the Santa Cruz mountains that was a gem needing minor work to get running. We do what we can.

Sixto
... stay tuned

My grandmother has a W123 200 in that green but it didn't look as garish. Maybe it's the white walls.

On the white one, maybe the top bidder tried like diametrical but couldn't find it :/

On the green car, is that a spot of rust at the forward end of the left rocker panel trim?

I would call this minor imperfections. On passenger side front fender, bottom left corner is a small spot, too.
