Wow, for the longest time we had nearly the lowest prices in the nation here in NE Okla. We have now slipped way behind, as RUG is 2.529 and #2 is still 2.849. With a 32-cent delta, that is over 10% in the wrong direction. Winter may be tough this year!!

Out driving around, saw a 50 cent spread between gas and diesel.

I have no problem with that at all, as long as diesel is the "cheap" one.

cheapest diesel here is $3.19 at the chevron in SSF. filled up there today, but ive noticed my MPG's have dropped with this new ULSD. Ive been running on ULSD for the past 2 months in my 300D. I add a quart of veggie oil and a little bit of powerservice grey bottle at every fill up.

My mpg's were better with the LSD. this sucks! i need to start making some more biodiesel! diesel is too expensive.

Maybe its headed your way. The prices at the grocery store I work at by Lake Thunderbird have dropped drastically in the last week or two.

Elections are in november. Oil companies cant afford to have their republican backers lose. Think Stevens. God I want to get my hands around that guys neck. He is the Alaskan senator that shot down the Obama " transparency bill"

Try the Hess station not too far from Hampton Center on Rt 1. RUG was 2.779 there. Diesel +12 cents difference.

Gas is down. However, as I see it, so is diesel. Diesel cheapest in Madison area is 2.99. A week or so ago it was 3.05 and more.

Naturally. And some folks are so short sighted that 2 months of *slightly* lower gas prices will make them forget about what was done to them the rest of the year in fuel prices. They''l say, "Wow! Gas is less than $3/gallon!! Things are looking up!!" One year ago I was paying $2.36/gallon for premium gas - I have not forgotten... I have the receipts...

And wait until you see what interest rates do over the next 24 months, too. The 'publicans wouldn't want high interest rates when they're running for the big oval office...

Since my SD is the only car I own, I have no choice but to buy Diesel at 1.02 a litre, while gasoline is at $0.99 a litre

Last I saw, it was $3.15 at my local station, I'm not sure what gas is selling for.

it's 2.99/gallon here, but i can still go an entire week of driving on $12 or so... so i'm not complaining. by comparison, my friend puts $25 a week in his accord and my other friend puts upward$ of $50 in his truck. ouch.

Keep in mind we are coming up on fuel oil season when diesel gets sold as home heating oil. I suspect we will see some of the highest diesel prices ever this coming fall.
