Insurance is high until you turn 25 or are 21 and get married.

If I still had my 300CD, I calculate that I would be paying about $40 a month for full covereage, right now I am paying just under $80 a month for full coverage for my truck , which sort makes me want to get another diesel benz

I get $100,000/$300,000 liability and medical costs for my 3 MB and a PU truck for $470 a year from Hartford thru AARP, even though I'm not an AARP member (AARP is too liberal for me).

Sorry, that is only for ole geezers like me.

That seems dirt-cheap for 4 cars even though you have no comprehensive or collision on them! So, it's less than $120 a year per vehicle? I have 500/1M coverage and pay about $350 per car for my two daily drivers through State Farm for liability only, then about another $350 each for under/uninsured, Comp & Collision and I thought that was cheap...guess I need to check out AARP (in a few more years)

If you don't have uninsured/underinsured coverage I would highly recommend that. If you are unfortunate enough to get hit by someone with no insurance (or a hit and run) and are injured at least you can go after your own company and collect...without it you are SOL.
