Ok

My transmission vacuum line got disconnected during some repairs and caused hard shifting. It was driven a few times like this until my brother and I had time to look at the problem. Knew it was vacuum related but family, other priorities prevailed. Maybe they shouldn't have.

The vacuum line has been reconnected and the forward gears shift smooth as butter. Problem is, reverse is no longer functioning.

Did I trash the gear (which makes no sense), or is this something really stupid?
