82 300sd, alda location

Simple question, Where is the ALDA located on my 82 300sd?

It's the square device about 3" to a side sitting atop the injection pump. Follow the line from the back of the intake manifold to a switchover valve on the firewall, then follow the other line to the ALDA.

Thanks, im outside working on it as we speak. Im going thought the entire vacume system and searching for broken lines, hard lines, deterated rubber, etc. im going to try it for a while with out the alda. I did get around to changing one of the fuel filters and ordered the primary.

thanks, well i guess its time to go play outside in the cold. now if i can fix my fuel shut off so when i turn the key off the car shuts down too... i did some searching and im reading that it must be a broken VACUUM line..

Mid, not sure a MityVac was very useful on anything you've worked on thus far but it's indispensable (did I spell that correctly?) when working on an MB.

$110 seems a little low for all that with a pyrometer....

Did you get a thermocouple and lead wire with the gauge?

I'll bet that the $110. from Fastlane is exclusive of the pyrometer and boost gauge.
