Floor insulation replacement?
Hello everyone,
A dumb question. Which material can I use to replace the compressed fiber insulation that the W123 has under the floor mats? I'm going to remove the whole insulation because its rotten. I need a cheap option that is as effective as the orinigal material. Regards |

Dynamat may work, but it's not cheap.

If you really want to go cheap - try the felt padding they use under Berber carpets. You can buy it by the yard at your favorite home warehouse or carpet store. Secure with 3M fabric glue spray.
