W210 E300 OM606 wiring harness replacement

Has anyone swapped a wiring harness on the 1996 W210 OM606 motor? Mine has been generating a ton of codes from failed insulation on the twited pairs of wires. I'm getting tired of them. How much is a harness and where are they sold?
TIA,
Steve

I got mine through the dealer... Not too bad $$.. But I have the 124 OM606 variety. It was not too difficult to do this myself.

The dealer replaced the harness on my 99 after it flew here from Germany. The part was $600 at dealer prices and labor was 1.5 - 2 hours as I recall. My recollection is not perfect as it was painfull enough I have attempted to forget.

Most likely a 3-4 hour job on the 1996-97 E300D as the intake must be removed first.

Thanks Guys.
I'll order one. Need to replace the glow plugs anyway.

Replaced

The engine harness was about $450. The task took close to 3.5 hrs. I did the glowplugs at the same time which added over an hour to get them out. I bought the glow plugs at an ebay auction and found they had the wrong electrode diameter and had to turn the electrode down to size on my monarch lathe. I slathered them with never-seez to prevent sticking next time around. I need to buy a glow plug reamer. The car ECM required reset of multiple codes after initial startup. The intake manifold and resonance pipe need to come off and the car is jacked up for the access to the transmission wires. So far, so good.
