My Nissan truck uses a hose similiar to that. It's just longer. They put it behind the timing belt on the 3 litre v6. It had never been replaced until 160,000 miles. It was weeping coolant. Dealer was the only place to get one, but it was really expensive, and was special order. I needed that hose quick, so they told me to go to a big rig shop and see if they have any hose that would fit. I bought 3 feet of it for $10. It is a coolant hose they use on the rigs. The guy at the truck repair place told me that hose should out last my little Nissan.
