A/C/ Leak found...Now the fix ???
Using UV cans of 134a, I found my leak....it's coming out through the compressor shaft and through the clutch.
I have seen pictorials that make it seem like I could fix this with a new O-Ring, but I'm curious, has anyone here done that? If so, should I replace the drier and expansion valve as if I was installing a new compressor? Should I go ahead and get the new compressor? I cannot go another Texas summer without AC in the SD....help! Thanks in advance!
