I'm a member

I have the one mounted in the trunk of my very beautiful junkyard special 84. I haven't noticed, but are they easily removed from the trunk to be set up the road, say 100 feet before the car.

My newest 126 came in last week and low and behold when I popped the trunk there was the infamous triangle. I feer that something is missing to hold in place to trunk lid. The upper (top) connector, slide do hickey is there but what is supposed to be at the bottom?

I think in the W126 it is just like the w123.. the feet go into the skeleton of the trunk lid.

WRT the wagon...

When I received the triangle, I'd thought that I'd have to go looking for a case. Then when I put the triangle into its slot, I realized that the feet do indeed go as you describe, albeit into the framework of the panel - there's no other way for it to work...

If any body wants one, let me know...

I have my friend in Germany getting one for my car. If anybody else wants one let me know and I will have him pull some more out of the bone yard.

He will let me know what he is being charged for them in Germany. Once I know how many people want them, I will send him money to cover it.

You guys can then pay me plus the shipping costs.

This goes for first aid kits too

Sound fair?

Thanks

Joe

Here's yours (and mine)

By the way those with triangles, it looks like there are two general versions for the non-folding type. There's one with the white strip down the side of the triangles and with the thin mounting feet/brackets, while there's the other type without the white strip of metal covering the sides of the triangle but with heavy, thick feet. I have both now and both are made by Burger but clearly one is much newer than the other. Just thought I'd throw this info out there.

X2. I'm in for one of those. I'm sure others would be, also....

I have one clip from a 1979 280E euro that I'm willing to part with. Sorry, the triangle was already gone.

Shipping would be about $1.50 so I'm asking $5.00 total.

Count me in; I have a spare triangle with no clip, so I'll just set the pair aside if this is still available. Thanks!
