europartsdirect.com has new Bosch lenses for $48 (free shipping over $50). Under a year ago they were ~$35. Maybe its time to stock up...

Thought that price might have been for another chassis than mine... but nope!! Its $49.83. I hope it is the proper right or left hand drive (whatever it is we do in the US).

Thanks for the tip!

That is a great tip, thanks! Spares are good to have, especially for the reflectors.

finally found them, turns out they wont display under the headlight listing if you pick a coupe as the model, only a sedan.

I found mine by using searches on mercedes benz mb 123 300. Stuff like that. On the German Ebay, I used 123 schienwerfer. The prices in Europe is not bad, but finding someone that ships to the US is a pain, and the shipping cost is astronomical. I saw a headlight washer/wiper set up, but the shipping was more that the auction price.

schienwerfer. Personally I have my mom smuggle stuff over. She always gets hassled by the DE authorities until some old fart says "Yep thats a mercedes XXXXX".

Sorry, combo of bad typing and spelling. Good story though.

One arrived shattered...

Well, I was going to install my Euro's this weekend, since they arrived...

The passenger side arrived shattered with scratches on the reflectors. You can see on the box where it got hit.

It was shipped DHL with standard $100 insurance.

Time to start a claim....

Luckily, I have a spare one on the way...

What are the odds? Mine were shipped DHL last week, and the pass side arrived cracked/chipped.

That really sucks for you too.I have a claim started, cause the insurance was for $100 per box. The seller send them in two different boxes, luckily.

I guess DHL now means "Drop Heavy Loads"?

Did you get a claim going?

Yes, a claim was submitted yesterday -- hopefully they'll pony up! If I replace one lens, I'll need to do the other, as well, or they'll look funny. The other "old" lens has some pitting and will look dull by comparison. In my case, 2 lenses will suffice. The scratches on the reflector aren't too bad.

Good luck!

You are lucky. My reflectors are not too bad either, but the internal gray plastic that separates the headlamp from the fog lamp was broken also.

That glass is thick and had to endure a really hard hit to break all that, I think.
