If you are in Atlanta, can't you go to an Autozone and utilize the "Tool Loner Program"? I just took back the vac pump and AC guages earlier today.
You just put them on your credit card, and when you return them the fees are reversed. This is the second summer I've used this, and it is GREAT!

Oh, and btw, it is super easy to flush the system. Get you a cheap flush gun, and all you do is take every connection apart, flush the lines, and put everything back with new rubber seals and Nylog. I flush with straight alcohol, and used about a gallon or so. It cleans good enough and dries quickly.
I'll try and find a link to a cheapo flush gun and edit this.......

**edit**
This is the flush gun I got, and this is also the seller. Was a good transaction......

Also, not a bad deal. I think the HitMan got one of these. Don't know if he's used it yet....

I want to fix my A/C....

Is it really that hard to do? I know I could install all the parts/compressor and stuff...but the tough part would be the charging/flushing of the system....

Using my compressor as vacuum pump right now, and my modified mityvac as a gauge.. Seems to be working nicely,
