How far do you drive your car each week?

It seems these cars really like to be driven. I drive mine 480 miles per week or 25,000 mi. per year. What about you guys/gals?

Drive 260 miles per week. 89 traffic lights each day. Northern Virginia to WDC. Drive on the hov lanes where I get up to 65 mph until I get to the 14th street bridge where I hit the brakes. A lot of times, it takes me longer to get from the Pentagon to Capitol Hill than it does to drive from my house to the Pentagon (about 25 miles) At 65 mph, she is steady, straight, smooth and gives me a little gyrating humm to let me know things are moving around fine. At hardly any mph, she just moves forward ever so slowly. I have it timed so I don't hit the accellerator or the brakes very much sitting in traffic. Also gives me a chance to read the paper. People flip me the brights and the bird all the time, and my wife thinks I'm a psycho, but when I'm driving, I'm the boss. So glad I have a diesel.

round trip to Florida on home brewed biodiesel

Just got back from Florida in the '83 240D. Total trip was 2700 miles averaged about 26 mpg. 65 to 70 mph , all on home brewed biodiesel . Used 1 qt synthetic oil. Now 263K on the clock. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Mark, we saw you just below Erie! Nice looking car,.... and driver!
( his wife guys, not him! )

My 95 is replacing my Tahoe ( winter duty). The Tahoe was inspected in Jan with 120,007, and now has 127,000, so around 20K per year is what I';ll add to the 220K on the odometer of the Benz, i.e., I';m planning on driving the heck out of it. Part of that is a 60 mile commute every day. On 1.5 gals of D!

Hope to be right behind ya mulears. More weekly annd less annual since "Blackie Dee" wont see the heavy winter around here.

29,000 in the last 5 years on the daily driver, mostly city driving. Works out to be a little over 100 miles a week.

Frequent trips to the interstate reset it to purring mode.

I put 800-1000 miles per week (45-50K annual) on the daily driver. Rarely hit more than one or two stop lights in a day.

Are you really running the DSE WVO? I had heard alot of negative feedback about the DSE. Any problems with the injectors or IP? How many miles total have you run on it? I run 100% biodiesel for .68/ gal. and I know its a proven fuel. Just my 2 cents

Re:DSE

First batched mixed 10-04-05. Best guess appx 24k in mileage. Only problems to date, were the initial filter clogging and such. My price per gal includes all additives, an extra splash of diesel kleen plus price of filters for my processing station. At this time I wash the primary filters (I have two inline) with rug, just for PM. Yesterday only washed one

I drive my 300D about 20 miles per week plus some on the weekends to clean it out. I fuel up about 1 time per month weather it needs it or not. I drive the 500 about 20 to 30 miles per week but usually all at one time. I fill it up usually the same day I do the 300.
I change the oil on both at about 1000 miles.

I average around 400 miles per week in the winter months. In the summer months, since i pick up odd jobs, i usually put around 600 a week on.
