My wife's boobs are shaking uncontrollably

My wife drove my car the other night and reported to me her boobs were shaking out of control at idle.

I noticed the same thing after driving home almost every night this week, after about 40 minutes of steady 60mph driving... coming up to a stop the car is shaking pretty bad at idle. The engine is not dying, or loping, in fact it appears smooth if that makes sense. The engine just seems to be moving the body of the car. At higher rpm's the engine is as smooth as can be. I shifted into neutral and reved the engine, and the shaking and rocking got better....

I have the Diesel Purge treatment planned for this weekend as I have owned the car 6 months, and about 8,000 miles and not done it yet.

I did change the fuel filters when I first got the car....

I haven't read anything yet on the archives. anyone experience this.

motor mounts

I am getting some new ones (motor mounts)from Phil hopefully tomorrow, that should help my shakes.

Since the boobs are jiggling you may not want to fix it-IMHO

I would say that YouTube may be helpful - if you'd post a video we may be able to determine the source of the problem.

The motor mounts on my W126 560SEC have been changed at 49k and at 100k, I am now at 118k.

Your W123 CD has 220k on it, so perhaps you could check your records to determine when they were last changed. If you don't know, or they never have been, it may be that they are shot and should be changed.

tough job

I have heard quite a bit about changing these. Is it a difficult job? I think I need to look at my muffler hangers too, cause it is causing the muffler tail pipe to strike the frame about it and produces a "wobble sound" like your tire is flat when you are driving kinda....

Yes, of the shaking boobs so that we can determine the extent of the roughness.

We need more info. How big are these boobs? Heavy? Light? Man made? God Made? Please dont think we are just trying to get you to post pics this is all important info. If you had posted a question about wipers or tires we would need to know this as well.

we really do need a video of this.
or a very good description.
are they jiggling from side to side, or up and down? is it both? what is the extent of the movement? small, like the ripples on a still lake after a small stone is dropped? undulating, like a roller Coaster?
it could be that your motor shocks are worn out. there are two, and they don't really hold the motor still as much as they "calm" the resonance of the normal vibration of the motor.

Muffler hangars-my experience

My muffler hangars on the 560SEC finally let go, on a rural highway, and the exhaust system was dragging on the ground, and the CHP stopped me, and so I had the car flatbedded to the nearest muffler shop about 10 miles away.

After TWO more replacements (of Autozone type O ring hangars) that failed catastrophically, you get wise to the fact that the square OE Mercedes Benz muffler hangars, which are very cheap, are the way to go.

In your case, I'd check them and replace them with OE right away, also

Thumbs up

It's not too bad to replace the mounts. Consider replacing the engine shocks and engine shock mounts while you are in there.

I bought the dieselgiant video on the subject and was very happy with the assistance that it provided me. Well worth the $$ in time savings and frustration savings to see someone do it first.

I changed the engine mounts, shocks, and shock mounts in one day. At the time it was the most complicated car repair job I had ever done, and it wasnt too bad.

Be prepared though, after replacing these mounts you may find that the idle may be rough from other things. But the mounts will help a lot.

Is it a jiggle or more of a wobble? This is why I love this forum. Everyone is soooo helpful here.

No. As suggested, post a video.

DieselDan44's suggestion would be the first thing I'd do, if I had a desire to stop the jiggling situation.

Then again, it could be a deterrent to your wife driving your car unless you're there to watch.

So, you found that your boobs shook out of control as well? Yikes.

I also request a video and details that John requested--up/down, side to side? This is very important information to have.

For real, could you imagine a chick with big boobs going to the local indy and describing the symptoms this way. A very good way to get their attention.

In the meantime try motor mounts and shocks as suggested.
