56 going on 27. Wish I had this forum back when I was 27.
I am self taught with Pick N Pull as my teacher, regarding the repairs I have done to my cars.
Damn come to think of it they didn't even have computors then that weighed less than a ton!!

Being on the West coast does keep you young at heart. Been here all my life. What really blows my mine when I think of it is talking to those I sell parts to accross the international date line.
It could be Saturday for me but Sunday for them. Damnnnnn!!

Age

I'm 32. I have to admit, some of the younger guys on this forum provide very good knowledge and insight into these cars.

Wow

I would never have guessed you all were so young. Your collective
level of knowlege and maturity is astounding! This TD will likely be my last car project. I live on advil anyway, even when I'm not doing physical stuff. I'll be 55 real soon.

Goes to show that the other half of the old saying of "Never too old to learn" is "and never too young to teach."

I was 63 this past July and still learning.

Flushed the coolant yesterday and have a few twinges this morning.

PS: Still can't get use to looks, feel and smell of G-05 antifreeze.

Also I still find it strange to use Shout to help flush out the system, but the crap really works. Thanks again to a young person for telling me (and us here) about its use.

I'm 37 now and since the last time I posted in this thread, I still say everyone should lift with their legs and don't work through pain if you can avoid it. I'd now like to add: avoid work where you need to keep your hands above your head for long periods (like painting ceilings)

54 now. Getting into Mercedes has made me feel a lot younger, though. Well, except for when mine requires me to contort my body onto weird positions. The, I feel quite a bit older.
