Currently an assistant manager of sorts at a grocery store while I'm attending college.

I'm majoring in engineering but haven't decided to which particular field of engineering to go into. I'm thinking along the lines of mechanical, though.

I own a pretty large trucking, and air freight, company. The money is huge. However, I wish I'd done any one of a lot of other things, even if the money is just average. I would like to have been a school teacher, Biologist of some sort, or any number of other things. Despite how successful I've been, and future highlights. Money, is nowhere near everything, and it will not buy happiness, I don't care what you may think, because I know from experience. I have much money of my own, at my disposal, and can buy whatever I want, whenever I want it. Yet, I remain miserable...Really sucks, and I have plans to make some huge changes in my life, very soon.

Electrical engineer. Spent 5 years designing missiles (including PATRIOT just before desert storm).

Decided to pursue a business degree, so got a one-year MBA from a West Lafayette Indiana university. Ended up in plastics.

15 years in various positions in the plastics industry. Now I'm a plant manager over 3 blowmolding plants that make dairy containers. If you drink milk anywhere in New England, I probably made the bottle.

MFA & BFA in film/video. Working at a public access channel and doing some video production and editing for a website.

Don't really have a dream job... One with health insurance? It just pays the bills. Like truckinik says, money isn't everything. I know because I have felt real happiness for a few moments, and it had absolutely nothing to do with money (or where I was working for that matter).

Well, In actuallity, I was most happy when my Fiance was alive, and my life was complete. I lost her ever so suddenly, on Valentines day, 2006, and my life came to an abrupt end.

I have my work, and am a very busy individual. I try to keep busy, but my heart is still, and will likely always be broken. Money was not an issue with us. She came from very little, and I came from a lot, and earned my own. It didn't matter to either of us, if we were completely broke, or rich, we were simply happy together, and that was really all that mattered..Life sucks, and then you die.

Education in Media Comm, was working as a Telcomm Lineman until a 1200-pound pole broke my spine and ribs in late '05. Now working in Telcomm Engineering as a copy whore getting paid the same (thanks workman's comp!) for a job that requires virtually none of my acquired physical strength and half of my brainstem. Hope to move to Outside Plant drafting if the universe allows.

Working on Indie films (Horror/thrillers/zombies!) when I am not working on Greta now-Have two recent projects under my belt, hope to make enough at it to have my old girl back to showroom one day. Also to quit working for The Man.

Been an auction runner, package car loader, delivery driver, gas jockey, car salesman, customer service rep, ski technician, stock boy, bag boy, shipping clerk, receiving clerk, landscaper, flea market vendor, bouncer, warrior, bodyguard, chauffer, mystic, and DJ at a swinger's club. That last one was kinda fun. I'm also a licensed minister in the Church of the Subgenius.

Surprised to see so many engineers and techies, I like the company I am in, everyone else included, of course.

I am an Electrical Engineer and licensed as a Professional Engineer in 11 states. I am pretty happy with what I am doing but as a second career I wouldn't mind being an mechanical engineer or truck driver.

I am an RN and Assistant Nurse Manager in an Emergency Department as well as being a Navy Nurse for 21 years. Wish I was retired and could buy and sell cars and just tinker for a hobby

Thanks a lot DS. I work hard, and stay away from home, and a lot of the things that remind me of her, as often as I can. This is why I'm almost never home. Everything there, is her, in some way. Every woman, and a lot of things I see, and experience, out on the road, and even else-where, in the world. It is very tough, just day to day. I avoid home like the plague, and find every excuse, not to go there. I try to concentrate on my cars, and my work. It's very hard to explain, on a computer. Guys ask me why I don't go home, and I sometimes can't word it the right way. She was my life, she was my world, and she's gone, and there's nothing I can do about it. I very often wish I won't awake the next morning, and no matter how busy I am, I never stop thinking of her. She was my best friend, lover, and soul mate.....This is a very difficult subject for me, and I must stop talking about it....But sometimes I can't.
All I really feel like I have in my life now, is "Josey" my seven pound, year and ten month old Miniature Dacshund. I have family, but it's hard to talk with them sometimes. The whole thing is hard to deal with...
