For a "unique" W123 to show off at get togethers, I'd want a black 300D, long wheelbase with capacity for 7 occupants including driver, turbo OM617, limo tint, square Euros, blacked out grille avantgarde style, US bumpers, dark orange euro corners, SLS, 15" wheel covers painted black, and a black leather interior.

For a daily driver, I'm content with what I already have. I'd just get all the maintainence caught up and get a respray done.

black on black with leather interior. a 1983 450 sel with the euro full all round bumpers would be awesome. buutt.. the euro headlights on a 300d would be nice.

Mine how it already is (freshly restored), with 15 inch Bundts, somewhat lowered front stance (smaller wheel well gap), with possibly the manual/dual climate control system instead.

Was the w124/w126/w201 airbag wheel offered in the w123? I'm guessing so since other w123's with airbags had them from the factory but I'm not sure. Anyhoo, I'd like to get that steering wheel if only for the feel of it (smaller, but more solid, wheel).

It would also be great to have a rear electric shade if it was an option...? If not then retrofit one...without cutting anything critical!

i like all 123s. they aren't flashy but they are refined and handsome. i like them with bundts or with the painted caps. the amg wheels look nice too but i wouldn't sacrifice the ride quality to have them myself. my favorite color is the maple yellow. i really like about all the colors though. i would hesitate to buy a dark colored one because they show dirt though. any engine with a stick is best, though POS's amg is tugging my heart strings at the moment, i would really like a 240 with five speed as well.

i have owned over 20 of the 123s so i have had almost one of each of the more common engines and body styles.

never had a limo yet.

Theres a limo ( I think they called it a Lang? correct me if I'm wrong) around town here, one of the hotels uses it and runs it on bio (they of course have to advertise it in the window), it just looks like one of the classiest cars I've ever seen, beige with euro bumpers and round euro lights. MMMMM

Heh

I honestly hate how the old AMG stuff looks. So flash, and "ghetto" Too 80's for me. I like painted caps to match the body, and a cool paint color....orange comes to mind

Thumbs up oh my gawd!

gatorblue92, I want your car too (but I'm whispering so Lola can't hear). Great TNG graphic too--where'd you find it (and the car)?

i am interested in the chrome delete option but never seen it taken far enough. '70s colors are much, much cooler than the alternative.

I like the Euro look for the painted wheel covers, bumpers, headlights, manual everything, I like chrome air vents, chrome trim below the tail lights (240s) and the darker paint colors I guess I got what I like
