Thanks. I bought some wrenches today and bent them, but forgot to take a copy of this post. I hope I've got the sizes okay. I may cut off the box end to add a handle. I have access to an oxy acetylene torch, so I bent w/o hammering, and since I just did a tranny fluid change, I had oil to quench them in .

In your pictures those wrenches look thin and thats a good thing. I would have liked to find some thinner wrenches when I made mine although it worked out ok. You probably want to bend them again so you have a handle part for leverage.

Yeah they are pretty flat. I ground the heads down a bit on the bench grinder too. $6ish per wrench at Advance Auto Parts.
Now that I've seen your height measurements (thanks), I will probably bend the box end into a handle tomorrow.

I doen't know how important the hight is you just need it to be high enough to clear any of the stuff in the way.

Are these wrenches bought or home made? Are they meant to be used without removing the injector hardlines? I used 2 regular open end 14 mm wrenches, thinned one of them (for bottom nut) on the grinder. Did not bend them. I did take the injector hardlines off, which takes 5 minutes so no big deal. The valve adjustment went smoothly and took me about 45 min.

These are store bought, $$$ but they work, did not remove hard lines. The instruction sheet in the background came with 'em. Biggest difficulty was getting cam cover back on! Most were tight, noticed zero difference. Made me feel better tho. This pic shows the remote starter thing I used to bump engine, I use it with belts, compression check, etc. too. This is the SD, the 123 hook up is different as where to clip on.

Yah, those bump starter switches are pretty handy. Picked one up at AZ a few weeks ago ($13.99)... sometimes I still like turning the PS bolt though... plus, the '80D does not have those terminals to hook up to....

btw, never had to remove the hard lines... actually, no need to. Best done with 2 people. One standing by passenger side to chk clearance, drivers side to make adjustments....
