Just subscribed.. Doesn't work in firefox for me. I renewed it twice so I now have a 3 year subscription, just in case they start charging again...

You need to have Java Web Start installed. It doesn't actually run in your browser.

It doesn't "work in" Firefox or IE at all! It is a separate Java application.

You need to have Java Web Start configured for your browser.

Good news for the Linux crowd, it's working fine on Ubuntu 7.10.

Months ago they really did require IE for it to work. I remember being annoyed that I had to use my Windows laptop to run it, which kept me from ditching Windows completely... Seems I'll be taking that Windows crap off of my laptop now... I can finally actually use the 64-bit processor! Sweet!

My favourite is when you find a part number that's been superseded about eight times. Starts to make you go cross-eyed looking at the list unless you're using a big monitor... Clearly I need something larger than this 19" LCD.

You can also access build cards if you put your VIN in. The late model ones pop up with similar format to the russian site.

The price depends on the dealer and what profit he wants. So that is a local function.

Windows Vista?

This is great, as I am kind of new to Mercedes, any help is appreciated, particularly if it free! At the start it sez use at your own risk if you have Vista. I figure I can go ahead anyway, but wanted to double check if anyone has tried and had any serious problems.

Thanks
George

It runs through a java plug-in in IE or whatever browser you use so I don't know if it matters what OS you use...can you install java on your computer?
