Actually, it's jealousy. I was simply admiring the extraordinary low engine speed with the 3.46..........and thinking what it would do with a 2.88 (617 turbo).

A gallon of what? With an old W123, we could be talking oil, transmission fluid, p/s fluid or fuel now!
