I'm having the same problem with my roof. The cable is stripped so it isn't able to be opened manually by the bolt on the motor. Can I just push it back to remove the liner? Would that hurt it in any way? I see no other way other than potentially damaging the sunroof liner by trying to pull it through the inside of the car.
