Transmission jerking 2007 E320 bluetec

Just bought a dealer demo 2007 MB E320 Bluetec 1 month ago. P1 package. Total miles now is 9400. I have been experiencing severe jerking when driving at slow speed for first 10 minutes of driving. It happens when I let the car cruise slowly up to a red light/stop sign. Also when I leave work from the parking lot slowing down and stopping before turning into traffic.
Feels like the transmission shifting hard. It jerks pretty hard a few times before the car does a complete stop. I live in the Northwest so don't know if cold temperature is involved. Its been around 40-45 degrees F. I keep the car in sport mode at all times. Doesn't jerk when arrive at work after 15 minutes when I park.
Just took it to the dealership for repair. Still has the jerking. Thanks for your advice.

Demand it be repaired immediately, or you will be claiming your money back.

Did you reset the adaptive transmission profile?

The same thing happend to the CLK550 that one of the agents I work with has. At 5k miles it started jerking, and the dealer reflashed the computer. All has been well since.

There are serveral people with 7 speed trannies that have complaints on the MBCA board so you are not alone...go back and demand it be made right. In some cases they have had to replace them. The fact is these should be smooth and don't let them try and tell you "they all do it".

This one needs to go back to the dealer and stay there until repaired to your satisfaction while you drive their loaner.

You might get more tech input on the Tech forum. Title the post "Jerking G-Tronic", if it has anything in the title to do with a diesel one of the Mods will just move it back here.
