Trunk Seal Installation Questions
All, I have searched the archives, but could not find an answer to my questions. I just installed a new trunk seal and it went in very smooth, now my delima. The part of the seal that touches the trunk lid does not bend over towards the outside of the car very much and when I close the lid, the seal does not fold properly. Have any of you had this problem? If so, what have you all done to overcome this problem. I'd like to be rid of my trunk leaks once and for all. Thanks in advance.

These trunk seals have a top and bottom to them. my indie told me I had
it back wards, so had to buy another. The sides and the part across the top have a curve to the out side. along the bottom it is sort of flat. I did my 123 about 10 yrs ago. and replaced my 126 about 4 yrs ago. I had problems with the 126. might have been from being scrunched up too long in the package. I used some tape to bend over the rubber and tape to the fender and shut the trunk with hopes it would reshape. still doesn`t look right, but no leaks. might also be the cheap tiawan after market stuff we get now.
