Not mine, just passing along a good deal.

Someone who drives mostly in city traffic or in a place with a lot of hills and doesn't want to be shifting constantly?
My girlfriend's current situation, in a nutshell. She doesn't mind stick except for the above issues. (Which I would also get annoyed by) I'd have to shift 50 times just to travel 5 miles to school every day. No thanks.

Seller said the engine blew, he left the auto on the replacment engine and later found a 5-speed to use instead of this 4.

Nothing in the receipt suggests the tranny was rebuilt. Release bearing and slave technically aren't in the tranny. Basically it was resealed unless he has more receipts.

So if I replace an unspecific seal, a throw out bearing and a slave clylinder I have rebuilt a manual transmission. Brilliant
Guys if anyone wants the 4 speed setup I have 400.00 takes it all. It came out of another members 240 that threw a rod. I was told it drove well and have no reason to doubt Ken's word. If shippping is a problem I will be driving from NJ to Houston in a few weeks, I could drop it off if you're not to far out of the way. |
