200k/Spring Repair schedule

I have to replace my calipers/brake hoses this weekend and this got me thinking about how to treat this vehicle right.

CHanged all fluids when I got her last year. Changed a rear axle, front rotors, new pencil plugs before winter.

Engine is running well, idles well, 27 mpg on the highway, no movement from oil cap during 'tea kettle' test. Sure feels slow though, might be me used to newer vehicles.

When the weather gets warmer I'll do a valve adjustment and check the chain for stretch, along with wear on the tensioner/rails, etc. Adjust IP timing, especially if I have to install a key.

I have a cracekd boot on an upper control arm, those might be this summer, along with new shocks.

I read a 'When I replaced what' thread and I was seeing alternators at about 250k, so I'll check mine there. Any other ideas for things I should be checking at this point?

Hi,
You may have already looked at these items, But I will throw them at you just incase you missed them.
Drive line flex disks and center bearing, Transmission and oil cooler hoses ( If they are weeping they are do), Rubber air cleaner housing supports ( I do these at the valve adjustment), Power steering filter, Replace the rubber bushing between the fender and Radio antenna, Transmission linkage bushings, Change ALL your fusses to the upgraded copper ones, Plug your EGR valve and Change all your bulbs to the German ones.

Good ideas you have there. I inspected the flex disc when I changed one of my rear axles last summer and it seemed good. I think after the brutal winter it suffered here I will change it out as cheap insurance. I disconnected the EGR vacuum line. I would like to block it off completely, and man I wish it was possible to get rid of that huge air cleaner assembly altogether. That would be a sweet looking engine compartment.

I have a new master cylinder too. I don't think I'll do that this weekend, I only want to be out in the cold for so long.

What else you guys got?
