I just semi-detailed mine today. Washed it last week, wasn't that dirty so I just used Quik Detailer and cleaned along for a fresh feel and look. Recently I also just washed and semi-detailed the wagon (300TE) but that doesn't count huh

There was one time I washed it twice a week but since we're now in an underground parking garage it doesn't get as exposed to the elements so I just wash it once a week.

Once a week in winter. Less when there's no salt around. It's been a couple of weeks on both of mine and they're due.

Thanks! It wasn't like that when I got it. My signature covers the later portion of my ownership, I lost some pics from 2004 to mid 2005. Admittedly I don't like the attention, sometimes it's more of envy and people can (re)act differently but like you I love it when I get a thumbs up from a fellow W123er or MB enthusiast I pass by on the road.

I do a quick wash and detail once a week and do a full wash and detail once a month. I go all out..When I do the bodywork and get new paint I will probably go seriously all out...

I only use Mequires Gold Class products on my Benz

Gold Class is great but doesn't last as long. The Professional line up with the beige bottles are better though more expensive, but well worth it. For quick details I use the NXT line. It's been a long time since I last used Meguiar's #7 so just regular cleaning keeps the car fresh. Once you get to that level it's easier to clean too, the same goes with the engine bay.

I finally washed China Monday. It rained Tuesday and it rained Wednesday. Guess what: It's supposed to rain again tomorrow...... At least the rain finally beaded this time after the clay bar/polish wax/final wax of a couple months ago.
BTW, does the self serve spray type car wash soap eat through the wax like dish washing liquid?

Its been raining here a lot....but I usually wash mine once a week or so in the summer.....more if its dusty or if there's a lot of pollen out....I hate seeing that dust all over the car! I like to see the sky/clouds reflecting off the hood while driving!

I rinse the sd every other day with just water. The pollen here in spring gives the car an annoying yellow green haze, so its not even worth soaping it up. The 300d is in the garage, I wash it when it gets dirty

"Noddy" lives in a carport , so I tend to chamois it down each time I go out .
Pretty labour intensive , but it keeps the shine up and the looks/comments favourable
