ok.. so.. its a 1997 E300D Non-Turbo and you think the engine is over heating. the glow plugs are not showing signs of working, the fan kicks on as soon as you turn the engine on.

1) Go to dieselgiant.com and follow his testing procedures for Glow Plugs (for the W123) and the relay although i very much doubt that is the issue.
2) look for a fuel leak at the clear plastic fuel lines leading to and from the IP/Fuel filter housing. If no fuel leak, crank engine for 5 seconds and then look for bubbles in the fuel lines. Those lines are sealed using orings. If bubbles are present, crank engine for 30 secs, rest 10, then crank again. You cna do that 3 times before letting the starter cool off for an hour. If it sounds like it wants to start KEEP cranking and continue cranking for 3 secs after you KNOW it is running. This is priming the fuel system and getting rid of the air which is preventing it from starting. Report back with results.

we getting power to glowe plugs from rellay( i've checked it on ,y frinds MB but there is no fuel coming in at all .I've even disconected the lines to see if the fuel was coming in the fuel filter but nothink,i think that engine temperature sensor is bad because when you turn key on the radiator fan kicks in right a way.is there another fuel filter for that car or is there only one by engine?

There are two fuel filters; the main canister filter and a pre-filter. The pre-filter is to the left of the canister filter if you are facing the engine. Its about as big as your forefinger and hidden inside the left side of the fuel filter hosuing.
Did you look for bubbles with a flashilight in the fuel lines like I suggested??? Temp sensor will not prevent car from starting; fuel/air leaks will. Why are you guessing temp sensor problem...was it seriously overheated a long time? Something esle you havent told us yet?

If by "I got no fuel coming in whatso ever" you mean there isnt any fuel inside the clear plastic fuel lines you need to prime the fuel system as I first described.
It helps when doing so if the tank is +1/2 full and if the nose of the car is pointed slightly down hill. If you have pulled a fuel line and expect to see fuel squirting out when cranking you are your own worst enemy as the system can only draw fuel up from the tank when the system is sealed. You still have not confirmed if air is present in the fuel lines?

You really ought to confirm that there is no air present, but you don't seem to want to do that........?
AFTER you've confirmed the fuel system is sealed up the second and third steps in starting it would be to check the K40 relay and then the shutoff valve. Not certain what communications you expect the computer to give you when it is not running? It wont tell you that you have an fuel/air leak or that the K40 is bad. It can throw other codes that might point to the K40 and depending upon the type of error it will sometimes throw a code if the SOV creates a fault; other times it won't. There are certain steps involved to help you and you've yet to get past the first one.
