I said it before but I'll say it again.

I doubt that I would buy an engine from a yard. I like to buy a complete car with a good engine and cosmetic issues so I can drive it and evaluate the engine the same way I would if I were just buying it as a car.

I understand, but I have no interest in playing with parts cars or traveling around the country to test drive them, it's just way much too much trouble. The intent was to make this as simple as possible, I probably should have just ordered a reman engine a month ago. I've already spent more time on the phone than this "used engine saving" was worth. Dumb decision.
