Well I for one am willing to pay a premium for this Diesel V8 Mercedes-Benz, even with no prior knowledge of the existence of a model known as the 420SDL, because it is a diesel and obviously runs on old vegetable oil and costs nothing to drive.

As we all know, the reliability of Mercedes-Benz diesels is legendary.

Probably gets upwards of 35mpg as well.

The 6.9 International diesel V-8 was briefly marketed as a 420 CID. Those are mostly found in Ford pickup trucks. The year sounds about right though.

Well I went to check out the car

Well I went to check out the car, camera on hand to take pictures of the 8 cylinder MBZ diesel engine and my check book ........................................ You guys where 100% right no 8 cylinders it is a 300SDL obviously with a 6 cyl but I didn’t like it, the owner knows nothing about MBZ diesel cars he told me he bought the car 1 yr ago (if that is true I found hard to believe that for one year he thought he was driving a 8 cylinder diesel, so just image the kind of service he did to the car)

I was so anxious to see it, that I completely forgot about the bet, anyway you can’t trust a guy like this one.

If he gives it to you and it turns out to be in bad shape, part it out
