I was suppose to "bury" mine at 13; then dig them up when they turn 25.

Congrats and I hope Mom and baby are well.

Just don't ever tell her you named her after CHADAHAR's 380SE "Sweet Abigail".

I was named after my dad's best coon hound..............NOT!
Just after my dad and granddad.

have mommy bring the baby to bed with her... baby gets fed while you guys sleep. WAAAAAAAAAY better than the bottle method and better than CONSTANTLY getting up in the night to feed/whatever her...

Luckily we discovered that with our first. He now has to sleep in his crib though because he has developed rolling abilities.

Congrats 'mutt-she's precious!

2 girls! At 8yo, I love my daughter to death. And I'm glad she's my only daughter. I'm not sure about that 6mo./13yr. thing, I'm at 10.5yo with my oldest and he's still a PITA.

Beautiful baby! Tomorrow I am driving my oldest daughter to her college orientation............................................It doesn't seem possible. The beauty of children is that they really put life and all the so called "important" things in perspective. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

congrats! I have 4, yes 4 girls.
My 2nd one was "helping" dad to work on the car one day.
After about 20 min, I could not find a wrench. Started looking... Man, they are all gone. They were just here. I must be getting.... "hey daddy, look at the trees for my barbie" She had planted them box end down, and was using them as trees. I could not stop laughing.

As far as cell phones... I go prepaid, and give them a set ammount per year. If they want more they have to buy them. And there had better always be time on the phone for DAD!
What fun new ones are.... Enjoy and remember how blessed you are!

Congrats. She does look precious. My daughter just turned 16 and she will soon be learing to drive on my Benz. It has much more visability than our Toyota van.

Congrats. Since mine was born in January (little girl) I have realized that there is nothing in the world like having kids. I have been very lucky, my little angel goes to bed at about 1030 and sleeps til about 8-9 the next morning.

As for the texting, I send lots myself, and I grew up way before the cell phone rage, with her growing up with it, I SURE am glad my wife works for verizon wireless!!!
