I'd wait for the paint and do it all at once. Thats what I'm doing, I have a little crack that I am ignoring for the time being.
Getting Sekurit glass can be kind of hard, but you can usualy pick from a couple other good European brands. Just stay away from the Chinese crap. If you plan on showing it order a new one from the dealer so it has the MB star on it, that way you won't lose points.

To be specific, insist on SEKURIT, SIGLA, or if you have to PPG. NOTHING else. I made the mistake of letting them allow me to use XYG glass. Very very cheap for them. (insurance) "XYG" glass is Xingyi Glass company out of Shahghai, communist China. Scratches easily, risk of clouding, optical distortion, and god knows what else. If anyone came past my house at midnight and heaved a brick or a pumpkin through the XYG windshield, on the 560SEC, it would not hurt my feelings too bad. Just PM me when you'll be in the area, and the car will be in the driveway that night, and not in the garage!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
