Should I be able to hear the little fan that pulls air past the in-cabin temp sensor in my 1987 300D Turbo? The fan lives behind the right side of the dash and, when I first power up the car in "glow plug mode" with nothing else operating, I can hear the fan. Once the engine starts, it drowns out the little fan -- the fan is not that noisy and it's been that way ever since I got the car over a year ago. I just wondered whether anyone else can hear their fan when the car is otherwise quiet.
