I found out not too long ago that there is a yard that specializes in Mercedes in Santa Paula, CA, its about 10 miles from Ventura They have a lot of 123s and SLCs. It is a family business and they have good prices. The guy that owns it also restores mercedes and seems to know them very well.

Along the lines of this thread there seems to be several (at least 5) W124's at the Moss Landing Pick'N'Pull. All are early W124 models with 1990 being the latest. All are gassers. Someone had pulled the gauge cluster on all of them searching for good outside temp display units. I was able to get a an improved cluster cover that had good clear light pipes that had not been overheated but cosmetically was only fair. I'll have to keep looking for a cluster cover that is cosmetically perfect with good light pipes when I got to the Sacramento Pick'N'Pulls this weekend.

I also did notice one W123 wagon, but I am not sure how much longer that will be there since it has been there for several months.

There were also W126 and W123's there but I didn't pay as much attention to those since I own a W124.

There was also a 1998 W210 chassis E320 sedan that had a interior fire so only the engine and exterior components were usable. The engine was gone already though.
