OM 606 Shut off valve or shut off solenoid?
What I had always called the shut off valve (SOV), the part on the side of the IP with three fuel lines and one elec. connection, must be called something else by Mercedes. I looked up and ordered a SOV and what I got was a bolt about 2.5 inches long with a knurled knob on one end that has an arrow and says STOP. Do I actually need a shut off solenoid? If that is the case does anyone have a part number so I can be sure to get the right part next time?
