Interesting! What was the time-lapse interval?

one frame every 2 seconds. that way, seconds equals minutes in the video. ie, 1:54 minutes runtime equals 1:54 hours real-time. (yeah, i should have used a cordless drill

Great video, but such poor lighting at the point of attack. Still watched it and enjoyed it.
I did the brake cleaner to the eye a few months ago, and I just knew that pain and searing meant my cornea, iris and optic nerve were all melting!!!
Just an awful experience, and I am religious about eye protection from here on........
I can't wait for more time lapse videos. Very cool!

I got a kick out of watching the spread of black oil down his arms as the video progressed. And, the almost undetectable snatching of bolts from the bowl during reinstallation.
Pretty cool.

Great video I hate it when the oil runs down my arm like that though, at least it is not hot.

I ALWAYS wear protective eye gear when working on my car. Comes as a habit from a past life running a carpentry business. Seems sort of funny when you first start wearing them, but becomes part of the habit of work. And, it's not so funny when you're not wearing them, and you get something in your eye (like, for instance, warm citric acid wash from your block...ask me how I know).

Haha I did that too. Took a shot of brakleen right into the right eye. I was real concerned as the pain was excruciating but after rinsing my eye was fine. Still don't where safety glasses though unless im drilling or grinding
