Other engines don't have this feature and need additional lubrication.

The part of the IP that creates the 135bar fuel pressure is lubricated by the Diesel Fuel (or fuel if you are using something else) and it does not mix with the Engine Oil (in fact if the IP Elements wear out Diesel Fuel can get into the Engine Oil).
The Engine Oil lubricates everthing else inside of the IP.

Just because these are "Oel motors" does not mean you can or should pour random oil-based products in the fuel tank. It says "Diesel" by the fuel filler for a reason.
+1, just run the diesel and be done with it. Power Service in the winter, but I've seen some low temps after forgetting the antigel and car ran fine.

Yeah low temps *shouldn't* be a problem provided you've got proper winterized fuel. I bought my 190D in December in New Jersey and hauled it north on dollys. When I got it to MA it was MUCH colder than when we'd left NJ (like 20F vs 50F). The car had sat for a month or two before I'd bought it and hadn't been refueled in who knows how long. When I got it started the next day it'd idle okay but had zero power. I put in a bottle of power service (the whole bottle, like 10x the recommended dose) and let it idle for half an hour to circulate that around. Then took it to the gas station and filled up with good diesel, at that point it drove fine.
