seat belt stuck 87 300tdt
my drivers seat belt rettractor seems to be stuck not allowing sufficient belt out.this has happened intermittantly in the past but corrected itself.is there any quick fix?or do i need to go down 2 pant sizes?

Am experiencing the same thing on my '87 300D, but on the passengers side. Removed the trim on the pillar exposing the seat belt works, found no reason for stickiness. Seemed to work fine until I put it back together, then the same symptoms. Anyone been there/done that with a solution?

seat belt stuck
My seat belt is also stuck. Not fully retracted, but not unrolled enough to fasten normally when driving. Is this a simple take apart and clean type of repair?
I do not yet know if I have pryotechnic belt tensioners. How to fix this? 1985 300SD Calif smog control. Thanks.

The driver's belt in my SEC is doing the same thing...
Does anyone know if the W126 coupe and sedan seat belt retractors are the same?
