Center, yes. It's also on a Y connector but I don't know where the other end leads.

The one on the airbox is leaking however, I did discover this today.

The other end goes to the defrost actuator to close the defroster vent flap. Remember the defrost flaps are OPEN with no vacuum, that's the systems default.

The defrost actuator has 2 parts, 2 vacuum lines.

How / where do I find the correct tube to apply vacuum to in order to test this ? '84 W-123 W/ Klima II .

Explains a lot, defrost is always on (always blowing air in to the windshield).

I took out the glovebox, removed the Y connector and added a vacuum line of my own to test it with my Mityvac.

As the center vent pod isn't visible until the dashboard proper is removed , I'm still lost here....

Check both ports on the vacuum actuator for the defrost actuator and see if they hold vacuum.

Where is the defrost pod located? I'll try this tomorrow. Do you know which line supplies the vacuum to these pods? If it's the white one I'm definitely not getting vacuum from it.

Part of me wants to take the dash off and replace all the connectors and check valves...

^^That pod actually is fully functional.

Does anyone else know where the other line goes that comes off the center vent pod?

The line on the other side of the center vent pod goes to the defroster pod.... it has 2 vacuum ports, one to close it and one to open it.

Are you sure the White line is even getting vacuum from the servo?
