Though I've seen high prices, I just paid $2.13 at a 76 at the 101 and Topanga Canyon in Woodland Hills on the edge of Los Angeles, where diesel was cheaper than RUG and dropped .02 from yesterday. Amazing.

It's been consistantly $2.49 here in South Florida, since dropping from it's all-time high of $4.95 just a few months ago!

Get over your axe; if you grind it too far down, you have nothing left.

I suppose it's also "his" fault that we paid $5/gallon this summer.

No it's not, but liberal environmentalist Democrats have said for a long time now that fuels are too cheap and one sure fire way to get everyone to drive less would be a large fuel tax to artificially raise the cost of fuels to near prohibitive levels so many cannot afford them! Nancy Pelosi brought this one up again and San Francisco has the highest fuel costs in the Nation because of the taxes! Global warming my rumpus. It's a money and power grab. Hopefully everyone wakes up before it's too late.

It's an interesting read on what scientists now think since they can talk freely. I love the one:
“Since I am no longer affiliated with any organization nor receiving any funding, I can speak quite frankly….As a scientist I remain skeptical.” - Atmospheric Scientist Dr. Joanne Simpson, the first woman in the world to receive a PhD in meteorology and formerly of NASA who has authored more than 190 studies and has been called “among the most preeminent scientists of the last 100 years.”

I just got back from a 320 mile trip. Diesel prices in east and south Texas varied from $2.02 to $2.94! The truck stops were all in the $2.10 - $2.20 range. As they would be the most likely to be paying the most recent prices I don't see any sign of a wholesale price increase.

What was interesting was there was one Exxon station that was high volume charging the lowest price - $2.02 and about a mile down the freeway was a Shell gas station with one diesel tank charging $2.74. For whatever reason the high prices were all at the low volume stations. Perhaps they only carry the ULSD and the price of that blend has gone up?

Yes! This is what these scientists are saying now that they do not need to go along with being politically correct just to get funding! That's what was in the link I posted in my last post on this thread!
