After this mod, how will it affect vacuum? Will I need to follow an older models procedure for trans. vacuum. Or do I stick with the specs for 85 trans.
I have been reading about this all day. Thanks...

With 20 year old transmissions, the specs don't mean much. They need to be tuned individually to get the shift characteristics desired by the driver. Fortunately, the '85 has almost unlimited adjustment potential. |

Thanks again.
What are you using to plug the T's (permanently)?

Personally, I remove the T completely because a plug is not a durable solution. I then connect the remaining two lines with a short piece of 4mm vacuum hose.

THANK YOU!!!
Brian,
You are THE MAN!!!!! Thank you so much for your help! This is a different car literally. I honestly cannot believe the difference! It is hard to believe that something so small could make such a difference. Now the car boosts properly, shifts properly and that annoying whistle is gone. I'm still in shock.... Best Regards, AJ

om my 85 300d ca. car ive pulled vac hoses off of egr and avr and put bee bees in them.do i need to do more or is the rest of vac line removal more of a cosmetic issue.also my car seems to have more power after blocking these 2 lines-is that to be expected.?
