I found it when I ran the Hastings LF380 through the NAPA online parts interchange.
The Hastings LF380 is suppposed to be the same as the Baldwin P102. I bought 2 of the Hastings last week.
If I did not say it previously ww Granger sells the Hastings Filter out here for $13.59. I did not buy from them so I don't know if there are other charges or not.

Sort of on topic, the napa gold filter by wix for the 60x motor has an o ring for the oil filter housing that is too big, if you stuff it in it will blow out. Two napa brand filters had the same issue.

Went with a Mann and it was the correct size as always.

hmm
I agree the o-ring is too big, as it will not stick to the lid lip. but it has never given me an issue sealing.
I've used that seal on every oil change in my TD, since I bought it. the only issue I have is holding the ring in place while setting the lid down.

So, did the Hastings turn out to be the same as the Baldwin?
I've always used the P102 & NAPA is a lot closer to me than the
Grainger I go to.

Thanks,
Jeff

While I have not compared them side by side I am convinced they are the the P102 and the Hastings LF380 are the same.

I asked Hastings the Micron rating:
"Original Message----- From: innerbickler [mailto:innerbickler@peoplepc.com] Sent: Friday, November 02, 2012 7:56 PM To: Hotline Subject: Micron Rating LF380 Hi I recently bought some LF380 Oil Filters and would like to know the Micron Ratings of both of the 2 sections of the Filter. Best Wishes

LF380 - By-Pass has a 15 absolute micron rating
The Full-Flow is 18 nominal with a 40 absolute micron rating. Thank you, Sandy -----"

And, the above micron ratings are the same as the Baldwin P102
Several years ago when I ask Balswin a Question the Email has Baldwin Hastings on it.

That's just my experience with two Wix filters. I could have gotten a bad batch, they came out of the same crate.

Either way, I have an account at Napa, and with the discount the Mann is like $10.50. I got the wix because they were temporarily out of Manns at the warehouse and I wanted to change my oil before a trip. I ended up reusing the O-ring from an old Mann filter kit. Then when I got back from my trip I threw out the Wix and replaced it and the seal with a new Mann Kit.

Instead of looking up the Application/Vehicle go over and plug in the LF380 or P102 Part Number and check "Interchange".

See the pics

I did the search from the first page that opened and I did not put in any Vehicle Application I just whent straight to the below stuff.

I type the Filter Number (don't put the Makers name) into the 'Find A Part" box and check the "interchange" box and click on search.

I don't know how the Website would know what area I am from but Maybe that is only in My area.

tried that, still only shows me the FIL1385 which has the napa filters logo by it's pic, I believe that is their WIX equivalent. 11.99 and there was one in stock.

I did find the hastings online, 10.28 each, free shipping on $50 or more.

FYI they also have the BF7591-D which is supposedly a 7 absolute 1-2 nominal as per this post
Lowest Fuel Filter Micron Rating
I need to find the specs on the CAT, rumored to be 2 micron absolute

That is an excellent deal! I am sure NAPA would have wanted more.
