Canadian Volkswagen 1.9L TD, not TDI.

I will have a 5 set available, likely tomorrow. They will need nozzles and pop pressure calibrating.

From an AAZ? Check ebay perhaps? The part number is 028 130 201B for the complete injector. You can get complete new ones for $91/e from 1st VW parts.

Check out ebay# 150328084125

They are fairly hard to find, and you usually have to find 2 sets since the VWs are 4-bangers

If you know anyone who speaks french there are tons of AAZ equipped cars in the Quebec area. Lots in the junkyards up there.

^^^ as mentionned above. A Quebec Junk yard. 1.9L TD volkwagen Golf or Jetta i believe 1991 thorugh 1994.
The injector assemblies are about 35.00 CAD a pop and are not difficult to find however most are in rough shape.
You can get new ones at any VW dealership in Canada, but at 125 CAD a pop they start to be a little pricey as an upgrade, given that you need to swap nozzles. So the whole thing comes out at 150-175 per injector.

The 1.9 TD was used in the Golf, Jetta, and Passat from 1993 to early 1996 in the Passat and early 1997 in the Golf / Jetta. All 3rd gen Golf diesels are you'll see will be 1.9 TDs, there were only 7 TDIs sold. Passats made the switch to TDIs early 96, Jettas in early 97. TD cars don't have any diesel badgeing on them, TDIs say TDI on the grille and trunk.

I stand corrected on the dates of production.

I have a set of 5 AAZ injectors with used 240/ nozzles available. They are in good shape and I used them on my car (with 265 nozzles) for 6 months.

PM if interested.

I put out a thread to find some. I want to experiment. Not sure why Rolf thinks they are a waste of time ... Do tell ...

I suspect that if you turn up the fuel and had these, then you will have some performance gains. I have been looking in the yards and no grey market VWs in the sunny south yet. As soon as I buy some ... they will be in every yard around me. LOL.

I want to see for myself and then I will post my perceptions.
