I read a thread about a guy who had a driveline vibration/noise and after replacing all possible worn parts commented on wear in his ujoint and was told that if you removed the center carrier bolt that mounts on an angle and put a washer type shim behind the carrier mount and rebolt it, that changes the mounting angle just enough to move the the pressure to a different spot on the ujoint and can eliminate driveshft vibration.
Anydody know about this. There was no follow up to the thread.
