Its not that, don't know what else it could be. The kick panel is in the trunk.

Go for it! At the very least, you can clean it up a bit and sell it. At $250, it would be hard not to make a profit off of it!

No rust, mint w116 to pull interior parts from, $250, how could you go wrong? A paint project too!

Although at 300k miles the engine and transmission likely don't have much life left, no servo and the joy of P.O redneck wiring. I would take a battery there and if it drives 50 feet tow it home

It doesn't look too tinkered with actually. The only other thing that looked funny was a sponge keeping the air cleaner from vibrating on the wheel well.

I have to see if it starts at least.

Wanna make a deal?

If you buy the w116, then I'll buy the w123 that I looked at on Saturday.

OH.....

I went back today after getting off work, and he told me the PO said the car had sat for a few years. He also said I could have it for $200.00. Comes with keys and a clean title.

I'm going back tomorrow with a battery. If the starter does not engage, I will try and jump it.

I'm curious what the procedure is to crank the car manually. Where, what tools, and so on. Any ideas?

Sheeesh! Now, I have to go pull the battery out of Coda to take with me tomorrow. Come on, Tyler, let's buy our next project cars at the same time.
