no such thing as a "cheap" Mercedes

Just like there is no such thing as a "cheap" airplane. I love to drive a Mercedes--nothing else drives like one--it's part of the addiction--but none of them are "cheap" to own and operate. You will pay for your mistress.

Balderdash!

All 3 of my cheap wagons never took me to the cleaners. Some DIY frustration, yes, but not bad at all. You just have to know what to look for. Same goes for every car in my previous signature, with the exception of my W124, which took 2k to bring up to snuff.

The trick is to sell 'em @ a profit B-4 they cause you problems or part them out. Then of course there's the buy 'em under warranty strategy, so as not to spend any money fixing them.

Good luck, Bryan! Can't tell from the pics but the body looks pretty decent.

Well it looks like I got it for the $800! I will pay for it and get the title and records Monday, but I won't pick it up for a few weeks because I have no place to put it, there is a 24 hours of Lemons car taking up my garage and time, but it should be gone by the end of the month.

The only rust I could find is at the bottom of the front fenders. Strangly there is no rust behind the plastic wheel well liners right next to the fender rust, that area looks much better than my other W123.

I'll be PMing you guys that offered me parts soon.
